New Green
Narratives
Our Goal: To make climate action personal, democratic, and durable.
The New Green Narratives (NGN) initiative experiments with new approaches to replace top-down climate messaging with bottom-up, evidence-based storytelling. Accordingly, the NGN initiative centers underrepresented and indigenous voices and maps how citizens' direct environments shape their daily lives. To achieve this, NGN blends continuous literature reviews with semi-structured interviews and sharing circles. These methods have been piloted during COP events and in partner countries. Hopefully, the findings from the NGN initiative will translate into policy messages, campaign assets, and training for parties, youth wings, and civic groups.
We are committed
to turning politics and science into the driving forces of solidarity, sustainability, and shared meaning they were always meant to be.
How do we do this?

We conduct background research.

We experiment with innovative formats.

We work to translate the findings to policy messages, campaign assets, and training.

Partnerships and associations
We've built a network of research and practice institutions in Europe and around the globe.
Together with our network, we follow the threads of burning issues. For example: the psychology of climate change, technorealism, food production, and environmental victories. Within NGN, we conduct systematic research and narrative analysis on these themes.
